It's been quiet around here

Well it’s been quiet around here, and for good reason. I’ve been busy with training for my peritoneal dialysis. Ooh, fun for sure. :D But as of now I’m starting my dialysis and so far, it just takes up a lot of time. If you want more details, you can always go on over to “Being Diabetic” where I talk about all that stuff.

I’ve also been busy with Japanese TV, since it’s the New Year, the new shows have started, and I’m just trying to keep up with everything. It would be a lot easier if I could just record every TV show that is aired in Japan, then sort them out later, but wow, that would be a large process! But it would be cool and fun for sure.

It’s the weekend, everything is quiet around here. I’m just gonna sit back and relax and finally catch up with some sleep.

Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever.

It seems that I’ve chosen the fire thing as a theme lately trust me, this is not intentional.

As is usual, the title has nothing Really to do with this post. Perhaps if there is a message, please cherish everything you have in life, and by god, all the little things make up all the big things. Cherish them all.

The other day, I was talking to Danalyn, as usual, and of course, she was working because she just works too much. Therefore I had to do her a favor and show her a pretty fun video. What it started out as was all the weird shit the Japanese people do on tv. There are other videos I found that I won’t link here because, eww, they were weird. I think I will never be the same again after watching those. And I don’t plan on it again. But there’s this one Japanese Celebrity who Totally kills me, known as “Razor Ramon“. You can probably take a look at the wikipedia page I just linked, but honestly, you just can’t see how funny he is until you actually see him in action. Video after the bump. Hoooooooooo!!!

100 facts in 100 days – Fact 32

I just figured this out today. When I talk to a person who has an asian accent, I speak as if I had an asian accent. I know it’s weird but it’s true. I caught myself doing this today when I went to the Korean store to get some food. The lady there asked me how long I’ve lived in the area and I responded with a total asian accent. I thought it was pretty funny.

Of course, this doesn’t happen with my mom. When I talk to her it’s more like JapEnglish (for those of you who don’t know what this is, it’s talking with some words Japanese and most words in English), but Meesh told me when I was talking to my aunt from Japan, I spoke Totally differently. Pretty weird!

Does anyone out there notice the same things? I know when I sometimes talk to my Jersey friends, I get the Jersey accent going on.

My latest Dorama

So it’s coming up to the end of “season” for the current Japanese dorama (or Drama). I don’t watch all the dorama. I mean there are quite a few running, but I do try to watch dorama that have actors and actresses I like such as Ueto Aya, Fukuyama Masaharu, and Shibasaki Kou. And yes, I will watch dorama with them in it even if it sucks. (most of the time anyways.)
