I touch the fire and it freezes me

Ok, so it’s late, and I can’t sleep. Instead I sit at this computer wondering what I could do. Insomnia is a killer, I tell you. Hopefully the doctor comes up with something. I’m sure it will require the use of some drugs. I heard him mention Ambien. I wonder how that will work with me. I asked him about my blood pressure, and he first started out with this cheery tidbit. That many diabetics go throughout life without any complications, any issues, and that’s that. Then there are those where everything that could go wrong with having diabetes go wrong. Call it malignant diabetes if you will. That’s what I have. He tells me I’m unfortunate, I just call it Karma. I must have been a really bad person in a prior life. Then he proceeds to tell me that I have what’s called resistant hypertension. It’s a real term, honestly.

So yeah, my health is pretty much crazy right now. And you know what, that’s really only the beginning. There’s so much going on, I’ve got information overload right now. And honestly, these post titles are turning out to be coincidentally about fire. seriously! If you’re not sure what the title post is from, it’s from a musical episode (the only musical episode) of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (Once more with feeling)

Oh and I’m still trying to figure out this song!

TGIF!

It would seem that Fridays are becoming a faithful day for me to go ahead and summarize the week and do some link pimpage. So what happened this week?

Danalyn and Colin did a duet together, from the musical Rent. You can view all of their songs they’ve performed on Danalyn’s site.

This week is the last week that Katie is at her job. She’s starting a new job next monday, and could probably use some words of encouragement! Why not drop by and wish her some luck! She’s also stopping by this weekend after her trip in Seattle. We’ll be filming a video for the first episode of Tasty! and we’re pretty excited!

I also wanted to send a shoutout to my Scandalous Klassy friends, Lucy, Laci, Monique, and Sodapop. Did you know they are Klassy with a K? They keep me laughing and going on through the day and night at times via twitter. Sometimes I wouldn’t know what I’d do without them!

I was thinking today too, it’s a damn shame that I don’t have anything on my site that has to do with Mario and Nintendo. I mean so many people probably think I took my name from Super Mario’s Yoshi. But it’s not true. My name really is Yoshi. But I thought, I’ve gotta have the nintendo Yoshi on here somewhere. So there’s a video after the bump. Enjoy! Just remember, little kids think Yoshi’s cute! Wait that didn’t sound right.
