Shiroi Haru

shiroi-haruSo this spring season of Japanese television, my choice of dorama is definitely Shiroi Haru with Abe Hiroshi. It’s a real touching story about a man who commits murder and goes to jail, so his girlfriend can get the money to cure her illness. In the end, he finds that she passed away instead and wondering what happened to his money, he finds out more than he probably cared to know. Without giving too much of the story away, this story is very touching. Although he did kill a man, Haruo (Abe Hiroshi) is not an evil man. He committed the murder out of need to help his girlfriend and sacrifice so she could find a better life. I’m Really loving the story myself. It’s just incredible.

An Old Guilty Pleasure Revisited (TV)

I would never admit this to my girlfriend, and I’d never discuss this with my readers at The Lewis Show dot Com, but lately I have Really enjoyed Law and Order on NBC. I have only been able to watch the orignal Law & Order and SVU, but both have been written to perfection. I want to start watching CI more, because I’m a big fan of Vincent Donofrio.

I’m Really looking forward to seeing Robin Williams on next week’s SVU. I think he is extremely underrated when it comes to serious roles. We all have typecasted him as off the wall and humorous.

So I have to admit openly that I’m hooked to the programs, as hard as it is, confession is good for the soul, after all. Right?
